Spotify Blendship Bracelets

To promote Spotify Blend, a feature that creates a unique shared playlist blending two users’ music tastes, my team collaborated with Spotify’s in-house creatives to design and engineer nostalgic friendship bracelets with an interactive twist. The blendship bracelets sync to the Spotify app, and magically come to life when friends listen to their blend!

I was tasked with the tangible design of the bracelet. This included hands-on prototyping the bracelet’s construction - using custom components designed by the creative team. After prototyping and collaborating with the engineering team, I created an assembly plan and presented it. Then worked closely with engineering and fabrication, to build the bracelets.
